A new homebrew media player for the PSP was released by Korean developers, avi, mov, mp4, ogm, mkv, nut, asf, wmv, mp3, m4a, wma, ogg, asf, wav, MPEG1/2/4 video, AC3, OGG, Windows media audio are ALL SUPPORTED. It's capable of running 480x272 full screen video with nearly no framedrop, despite it is simple GUI this is one very powerful media app for the PSP.

Bigluzer has released PSP media server for .net. It is a dynamic RSS syndicator for Windows, that makes it possible for streaming MP3's from PC to PSP with v2.6 firmware thru the web.

Inspired by classic drum machines like the Linndrum and Roland TR-series, PSP Rhythm was created to use the simple, but effective 16 step style drum sequencer. PSP Rhythm incorporates the use of audio sample playback instead of drum synthesis. PSP Rhythm was directly influenced by one of our favorite contemporary drum machines, the Elektron MachineDrum.

Winnydows has updated his XviD4PSP video/audio converter for the PSP. This *update* only file just needs to overwrite the original .exe file to perform the update to the application.

iTunes RSS Server is a web server software to read your iTunes Music Library.xml and publish the playlists as RSS 2.0 Podcast feed. It handles MP3 and AAC files same well as server media files upon byte-range requests. It allows neat stuff like "listnening to your iTunes@home from PSP remotely.

SWF Player runs on v1.5 firmware PSP and is at present being tested for compatibility on 2.x firmwares. There's some issues when playing SWF's with MP3 music as this needs alot of processes, PCM sound playback runs fine.

SephZero has released a simple MP3 player for the PSP with an attractiving looking interface. PSP by trade has an MP3 player on it anyways, yet this one looks a bit cooler we think :).
